Thanks very much.  Very interesting interview I must say.  Lots of stuff in there.

Liked it very much. So signing and giving autographs takes longer these days because everyone has a camera... and he only does AFTER the show, and ONLY when he stays in town after the show, because he changed the traveling schedule during the last years... At least he tries to give us an explanation why he doesn't like the Get-A-Lifers anymore!!!   :lol :lol :lol

Great to hear all of you enjoyed the interview.

The interviewer, Hans Schiffers, contacted me weeks ago if I want to think about some questions.

The fan/autograph question (so we will meet Mark), olympics (didn't heard DS in the end show), USA, drummer (I hoped he talked about why Danny left) and the sleeve question came from me.

The question about the advice for his sons came from Ingrid. (Great to hear he talked a lott about Ben)

Hope you liked the questions.

Thank you Jeroen and Ingrid! Why didn't you come up with the question: Why no TOL? :lol :disbelief

Nice little Interview. I liked the  Ben knopfler-Ian Thomas Bit. He sounded like a proud dad.
Also interesting to hear his statement: I don't talk about bob.....
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....

I really have to agree. This was an unusually informative and well made interview!

Nothing about the red Fender, uncle Kingsley or falling asleep playing guitar. I really liked it!
