"Badges, Posters...." Fantastic!  :D

Only song that makes you go looney  ;D

It's a mystery that it never made it to any Greatest hits or Best of's...

Nothing new, then... Although I suppose most people like the fact that Money is back. So many brilliant DS tracks. Why always play the same? I don't get it... I love both Romeo and Brothers, but there is so much more.

Thanks Naif. Kind of odd he chose to play almost a whole set of Dire Straits tunes just days after releasing a new solo album, but money talks eh ?

Will be interesting to see what set materialises for the privateering tour for 60 odd quid a ticket.

I see it that way that he maybe keeps the new fresh stuff for his fans whereas those money people get fed with "golden oldies".... well, I however can very good do without Money or Walk of Life... I really thought that one was put to... grave...

True, although this setlist is actually more or less like any other MK concert from the last years, only mainly without his solo stuff...

MFN is a milestone in my life for sure (and MK is always going on about milestone songs ::)) for if it weren't for that song then I probably wouldn't have become a fan;  it was that famous guitar riff roaring out of my friend's brother's bedroom that first caught my attention all those years ago.  I'd love to hear that song again because it means a lot to me, Marks wonderful music being a huge part of my life.

I agree on that one :) Money for Nothing could make it back into the setlist...

+1. Yes Wol should have been put to grave. I am angry with this song because it gave a valid argument to those of my friends who bothered me telling me that DS was just commercial pop. How can you write WOL after writing TR ?? A real downgrade... At least MFN had musical qualities and was innovative...

Question: do we know what the sax was for ? Given the set it can only make sense on SoS and R&J. Is the famous sax break back in SOS ??? That would be news !

Problem: The Music for Monserrat version was so freaking good and rocking that any other version is unlistenable in comparison....

I think best sense would it make in Local Hero? Mark changes the way he plays it and when it was Going home - Theme of the Local Hero, the "real" version with the saxophone could have been played.
