Terrific work foma, u da man!

The opening chords to River of Grog are (I think)..

Am | C | F (F6) | E
with that nice little chromatic run up the D string between the F and E chords.

I was playing it all last night, very hypnotic and annoying to my family!

With capo on 5 fret of course.

I'm at work right now so I can't play with it, but does the capo make it easier to play the pretty fills?

Impressive stuff, foma. Thanks a lot. You're not only able to pick up those chords by ear but also name them properly.

Have you ever tried Baloney Again? Some interesting chords in this one. I think I never nailed them the way they should be played. If you ever have time or maybe direct me to the place where you already transcribed those, I'll be a happy bunny :)
...Well, he's a big star now but I've been a fan of his for years. The way he sings and plays guitar still bring me to tears...

Yes, I've transcribed it, bot not on the paper. I've transcribe almost all MK songs by ear.
Baloney Again has interesting chords like Bbaug/C (Or Cm6b5) = [8x877x] and Bm6/Maj7 (Or D6aud/C) = [7x6776].
Names are very impressive, don't you think? ;D But sound is much better.

And finally, The River of Grog. My most enjoyable process of transcribing so far and my best transcription. And probably my favorite MK song.

Yeah, indeed, "River Of Grog" is kind of hypnotic!
Of course I'm saying this for musicians (real ones, I mean)...
Regular mainstream listeners of music will find it "weak" or "boring" or even "annoying"... but what can I say to these people?... Well, God save their (musical) poor souls... ;)

Last night I was on a circle of friends (all great musicians) and tell them that Mr.MK probably had written his best song of his lifetime (or maybe just in his whole solo career) in these last months and such a song was called "River Of Grog"!

Of course I tell them to put on their minds and on its right place songs such as "Once Upon A Time In The West", "Private Investigations", "Telegraph Road", "In The Gallery", etc... (these ones are... legendary marks in music history)!

Yes thanks again - im sure there will be many string pickers that appreciate the efforts you've gone to to share. Especially to put in the correct upper partials and bass notes too, Legend!

And by the way, Foma, thank you a lot by posting your (intelligent) interpretation of "River Of Grog"!
These last couple of days I was thinking about this song but I had no chance and no time to strum a guitar... You made my day now! Thank you once again! :)
