Hi,

The song " Occupation Blues " is the best of the bonus tracks. Should have been on the album   ::)
I also like " Your Perfect Song ", It's just so......perfect  ;D

Those two instead of " Radio City " and " Beanstalk " on the album.

" and it's your face I'm looking for on every street "

Hi,

After much listening to the four bonus tracks, I think I'm ready to share my opinion about them. The songs " Occupation Blues " and " Follow The Ribbons " should have been on the double album.

I think that OB should have been the first song on disc 2. Then " Kingdom Of Gold " as the third track instead of " Radio City Seranade ". Goodbye to that song. Don't fit with the other material.

As the closing song at disc 2, I really prefer FTR instead of " After The Beanstalk ", which I don't like.

Now it's pretty near the perfect album or what ?

Take care...

Oh yes, lovely song.  I do agree with everything else you said though Marikablue.  Good call.

By accident I've found out that standard Windows 7 error sound perfectly fit River of Grog tonality.

Just try to find something long on the browser page while listening and... wow. You kinda started to feel yourself Guy Fletcher!

LOL.

ROFL, that's amazing, isn't it?

Great work by the way and thank you.

I listened to the bonus tracks on the above link. Occupation Blues for me is the best of the bonus songs for sure. Nice catchy, something russian sounding about it to :)Should have definitely been on main album. Has anyone got a copy they could send me please or anyway I can get a download? Still waiting for my copy of the CD here in South Africa, very far behind here :(

You said russian? It's funny, because we have old band called 'Secret' and their song 'Privet' ('Hi!' in English') intro has very similar riff in it. From first listen Occupation Blues remimded this tune to me. I'll give the link in a minute.

Riff is very different of course, but feeling is pretty close :D Just little funny sound-alike.
