Another thing is where to stay? I don't trust the travelodge is still there in may, even if they say your stay is guaranteed.

I talked to a friend today who lived in London for some time and he said that www.easyhotel.com is a very good alternative.

Maybe we should open a new thread for hotel recommendations?

Sounds good, Jeroen. There is one in Kensington, though in near the RAH. You have the same timetable as me. Looks quite good?

I stayed in the caesars hotel around the corner from the rah for the 2009 joe brown concert, but that ain't cheap, and I had it cheaper only coz it is one of our company hotels we are forced to book if we go to London for work. (and still not too cheap compared to travelogue and the likes)

I can't sleep in Hotels anyway (the first 3 nights) so I prefer a very cheap solution - it is just to be INSIDE of some house and not hang around in the Streets Of London at night...  :lol :lol

What about host families? I've no idea if there are in town center... This could be cheap for few of us...
