Please add me to Barcelona.
And I have a question that I am hoping someone can help with... I am trying to purchase Barcelona tickets, but I am stuck on the delivery options...
There appear to be two options 1) I can pick up tickets after I get in from Carcassonne by train (in one of several "ticket centres", which may or may NOT be convenient!!), or 2) I have the tickets sent to me via post (at a whopping 40 Euro price tag).
Has anyone picked up tix in any of the Carrefour or Fnac ticket centre locations? If so, should I expect long lines, or is this typically a quick pick-up? Also, are there any Carrefour or Fnac ticket centre locations you can recommend near the train station?
Many thanks!!
Hi Lis,
I always buy at Fnac (cultural goods and electronics) or Carrefour (hypermarkets). Too many unlucky tries on mk.com presales
They have a ticket desk at the entrance and it should be quick. It can't be different in Spain.
In fact there might be a better solution : why don't you try ticketmaster.es ?
They are official, I mean not second hand, and you can print your ticket home
Thanks, tunnel, for the insight.
It is very helpful to now what to expect from Fnac and Carrefour, and that I should be able to pick up my prepaid tickets there quickly.
I ran into new issues, though... I spent HOURS on ticketmaster.es yesterday (this is also where the MK.com site points me to for tickets). ... Sooo frustrated... I am not sure if I can buy tickets with my US credit card. I've run into this before; apparently, European banks do not accept US cards, instead they want a "verified Visa" or a "Secure MasterCard". Still trying to resolve.
