where did you see that it will  be a 8-piece band? (MK, RB, GW, JC, GF, MMG, JMC, ???)
The ??? could be PF ?
YAYF played live??!! Oh my god this would be heaven !

Here's the news, in Finnish though:
http://www.hs.fi/kulttuuri/Mark+Knopfler+kes%C3%A4kuussa+Suomeen/a1305596936001

But the current line-up is already 8-piece so it's probably going to be the same for the European tour as well.

I think most of the dates have been announced.
There's still a few dates after London, but they could make a break before going to Russia.
In July, between the 06th and the 09th and the 12th (maybe Switzerland) , between the 22th and the 25th
And after the 27th, other spanish ou portuguese dates.
There are more French shows than usually (7 !!!) This disn't happen since the GH tour !

It's not certain there will be an 8-piece band. The press release is the same everywhere and is based on either the previous solo tour or the upcoming tour in North America.

I'm hoping that the line-up isn't set yet for 2013. Would be great to see an addition!

Still astonished that no Hamburg, no Munich, no Oberhausen...  ??? ???

Not that Germany has enough dates, but this would be the first time ever that MK did NO T play Hamburg or Munich... would be interesting to know the reasons for it...

Yes, there's been no official announcement about the line-up for the 2013 tour.
For me, no need to have MMG on this tour... Flutes and pipes don't fit well with the blues tunes !!!
