Another morning, an no leak in sight ...

But hey, I just found that checking the internet every couple of minutes in order to hear an album that I'll be able to listen to for my whole life seems rather ridiculous. I'll now try and get some things done until the album is out!

PCM, Mercury or whoever has the power did a great job to keep the secret.
Is a leak worth it anymore  ? Only 9 or 10 days left.
I'd prefer if more tour dates could leak.  :)

The funny thing is, in this digital world we now live in, the album could have been released in mp3 / m4a format months ago, and the record companies would already have money in the bank from download sales. But it's always nice to look forward to things, to have to wait for and to build up anticipation. Instant gratification isn't what it's cracked up to be!

Agree, gotta hand it to the management and record company. They are doing an outstanding job this time.

Funny times we are living in. Years ago a leak was a total surprise and/or outrage, today it's the exact opposite.

"What, no leak? How can this be!"  :lol

Someone heard from Mimmo? If this guy has the album, it would be about time for him to share it with everybody, don't you think?

If I had it in hand I would make it available for you all because I know you will buy at least one version or even more.
But there are people who don't share, only have private collections. It's a hard hard world  :'(

Imagine this. Just before the release of the album you die and end up talking with Peter at the Heaven's gate. You ask Peter: why? Why did God call upon me a week before the release of the new album? Why not a week after? Peter anwers, well you know God's plan and all. It's not to be delayed by a smuck like you. Anyway, if you want to hear music you can sit over there. See those angels with the harps over there? They can play pretty well.
You go like but, but i don't really like harp music. If I were, I would have been collecting Alan Stivell albums instead of Mark Knopfler albums. Then Peter answers: well you beter get used to it. It's all the music we have over here. We want it peaceful and quite over here. If you want to hear rock and roll you have to go down below. To that guy with the horns on his head.

Haha, good to know that what Mark is playing these days isn't exactly rock n' roll. So there's a fair chance that he'll play up there with the harp camp. Looking forward to hearing that. Me, I'll prefer the harp version of "Dream of the Drowned Submariner" over the synth version anyway! :lol And I'm sure Mark will be a genius harp player.
