I was happy with the mp3's until I bought a decent home stereo. Listening to Brothers in Arms in 5.1 is a whole new experience.

As for those who say they don't care for a leak anymore, try living on an island in the middle of the atlantic where an amazon order will probably take two weeks to arrive :'(   I want the leak now!!!!

Yeah, I was looking for some Dylan snippets - but nothing. Today the first track, one week before release... Strange, the Dylan fans obviously have no clue what to expect and it is just one week to go...

LE

I have heard Early Roman Kings and it has been much discussed on ER and then about a minute of Scarlet Town and now Duquesne Whistle - so it's not the first track to emerge from Tempest.   Personally, I found ERK just like lots of other blues songs that BD has sung, the sample of Scarlet Town was a bit short to comment on and Duquesne Whistle sounds great at the beginning - nice jazzy band, but then BD's gargling voice ruins it - for me anyway.

Oh I liked it. It was quite melodic - for a Dylan song from my point of view. The intro sounded as "Folkshack" was playing, you remember the band that did the "Meet & Greets" in 2008? The guitar (played by Bob himself obviuosly has a great rough sound, too!

LE
I wouldn't say I didn't like it - but if you compare it to the opening tracks of his other albums since Time Out of Mind, I thought this one was the weakest. Anyway, a new Knopfler double album, a new Dylan album - who am I to complain!

K7---I get it!      ;D  ;D  ;D       Not in use on this side of the pond, though--maybe in Montreal or New Orleans.

Just made some calls and went by some shops,
I did the same with the other albums and usually had them some time before,
but no-one seems to have it

They tell me: "it will be here on friday" .... it will probably be beamed up right into the shops by Paul Crockford himself...  :o I will try tomorrow evening, I have 4 stores that sells records, and sometimes the ones that are supermarkets or just little stores are not THAT exact with it as for example a big Media Markt...

I just hope that someone "shares their joy" when they get it. I'm about 15 days from receiving my amazon.it order of the super deluxe box.

I haven't listened to the snippets in the last 7 days and "only" played Seattle 10 times and haven't done so in the last two days.
I think I'm starting to have withdrawal symptoms  :-\

Let's hope it comes soon... ;D

Don't believe it. Delivery is most of the time a day before release. So it must be there tomorrow. Try around 3 pm they must have it then.

IF they get it tomorrow, they are not allowed to sell it. But the store where i was really gets it friday 11h, because he opens at 10h, and he dont have it by then. Maybe tomorrow at big stores like media markt?
