Privateering Tour Dates When?

Well, I believe there is a certain 2 year routine/schedule/cycle Mark has and loves. Last year was an exception with the recording of the Bap Kennedy album and Dylan Tour i think. Or maybe he recently started a 3 year routine. With 1 year of to do other projects then bringing out a solo album.

Anyway, normally the two year cycle is something like this:
1. Writing songs and making demos from August to December.
2a. Then in January start recording with band till april.
2b. In April/May mixing of album.
2c. From May till September all activities bringing out album around first week of September
3. September till December promotion activities release new album on TV and radio
4a. January till March practise/rehearsel tour
4b. March/April - August on Tour promoting the new album

I think this cycle has also to do with album sales around december holidays. Like Sinterklaas (Netherlands), Thanksgiving, Christmas.
And that Spring en Summer are the best time to tour. No heavy weather conditions for roadcrew etc.

I wont buy tickets to see MK short concert with Dylan in november if I know MK play play in april or may alone... I will wait.

I think that I will buy tickets to see him in October or November (my 7 year old son already told me he is coming with me  ) even if it is a short concert.

I will then buy tickets to see him in his solo tour later again. After all, there is no RAH around here and it is not like he is touring every year.

Usually it happens in September. No rush. 
It's only the Bob thing that I don't understand. He is late, he is unpredictable, he is Bob.
I'm just worrying about the consequences for our tour.

But no big deal. I'm used to PCM.

Bob tour is 2012
Mark tour is 2013

Both management are doing their thing their way and I don't think that hte 2012 US double bill announcement will affect 2013 solo tour.

And although a double bill, 2012 remains basically a Bob Dylan show.

Just got the news from Mk.com to my email. I'm soooo excited, I don't know what to think right now!!!! It seems to come so quickly the tour dates, presale, etc.
