.... I think you mean this fence behind the MAESTRO Slavi???!!   :-)))

Btw: I believe it's Ben Knopfler in the middle of the novel release party pic!

Best, Dom

Jagry,   I recognised that fence too and thanks for pointing out Ben Knopfler!   Maybe we should have a "spot who's there" competition!   ;D

Does anyone know the lyrics to that 'Cory' verse... The bit that starts "lost my..." - for the life of me I can never understand it. ???

"Lost my dough in Pompano".  :)

Thank you! I would never, in a million years, have worked that out!
Hey, i`ve got a truffle dog - finally a song the ordinary man can relate too!

I like dogs but that dog is... well, I dont like it at all.

 ;D

I dont think its the same fence, the garden in the presentation looks pretty full of trees, in the MK picture the space is clear.

And I always thought that "A night in summer" and "Are we in trouble now" talked about his romance days with Kitty, it was pretty clear as many of you will recognize that emotions  ;)

Jbaent - I'm talking about the fence at the front of the house - the one with MK and the bike and the one with the dog by the window, not the garden at the back with the presentation.    The same "lollipop" trees can be seen.   :)

That's probably right. And since then MK has not written one single proper love song anymore. Maybe Prairie Wedding...

LE

I don't remember exactly which one but some stuff on this album was written something like in 1974.

AWITN is one of my fave MK song. Nealry perfect, I would like that there would be no fade out on it and get de solo extended to the max.
I have to crank my amp very loud each time I liten to it (hopefully this is the last one on the album).
GH is another beautiful song.
The haters are those who write shit

Here is actually a new interview with Kitty from The Guardian where she talks about what inspired her to write the book:
