Thank you so much for alerting me to this article, Jarle!    Yes, I did know about Cory, but not seen a picture of him - he's adorable!   I love whippets, they are such gentle dogs.

I think he may have been named after a Lonnie Donegan song.

A thought just came to me regarding the bottle of wine.   Kitty says they drank the wine on a warm summer evening 19 years ago - could this have been when MK had the inspiration for "A Night in Summer Long Ago" I wonder?

It seems that Kitty has just released her newest novel. Here is a picture form the release party, re-tweeted by her daughter Isabella. Maybe it is in their garden? :p I don't see Mark, but I think I can spot Kitty in the background, and even Mariella Frostrup (or her twin sister) closer to the camera...

I think this picture was taken from a summer-house, at the bottom of the garden - there are a few cracked panes of glass!   The main house is probably in the distance at the opposite end of the garden.
