It was never one of my favourites, although the lyrics were funny (poor fat girl...) but... maybe it was because of the demo from the GH sessions we know, that was so different...

 :) Nice version! I have always wished that I had the co-ordination to play and sing along at the same time. I think that is also what makes MK stand out from many of his peers. IMHO he does it better than anyone.

I'm amazed when people trash Mark as 'not being able to sing' - its only when a normal person such as myself has a go, you realise how much control and character Mark has in his voice, that make his songs much more listenable.
He was a terrific singer right from the early days. You don't hear many DS songs being covered by pro artists, I think that's a testament to just how well Mark crafted them in the first instance. (I'm thinking of that recent TV cover of Romeo & Juliet for example)
Thanks for the compliments, I do wish I had a smidgen of character in my voice! Lucky I'm in a couple of bands that have 'real' singers. :)
