Parts of the verse melody remind me of Remembrance Day - the start of the guitar solo also.
Hey, i`ve got a truffle dog - finally a song the ordinary man can relate too!

Got it at last !
Quite beautiful, but less up-tempo than Border Reiver or What It is - if this is the single, i.e. the most up-tempo song, I guess we can except yet another no-so-rocking album :) which is fine to me anyway.
Cheers

Oh I think Corned Beef City and some of the blues tracks will cover the uptempo just fine  :D

Well I much prefer it to Remembrance Day!!  :)
Will be nice to hear the song in proper audio quality - roll on September!

I like the harmonium on it - the song doesn't sound as polished as some Get Lucky tracks or as Restless Farewell for example. On that one Paul Franklin's addition sounds somewhat too much, with a country touch. But on Redbud Tree, Paul Franklin adds the best atmospheric thing as in his best times with Dire Straits or MK solo. Phantastic song really!

Up for 30 minutes now this morning and already listened to it 3 times!  :disbelief
