Amazon Italy has delayed the box until the end of the month...

WTF?

What a great marketing strategy...

Yep, I've just received an e-mail informing me that the shipping date of my superdeluxe box is delayed by a month. The new expected date is Oct, 8th. Adding more sis weeks, the usual time for thing to arrive in Brasil, it will be my Christmas gift. Je suis desole.
Regards

Thanks for letting me know.
This is a strange choice for an artist who spends so much time and money on/in the studio.
The complete show should have been made available in flac. The way it has been done shouts of cheapness:(

Major companies seems to be not interested by distributing music in Flac format.
I wait for the time when Mark will distribute himself his work. Then, maybe  quality (shoes) will be at our door.

Pottel, LE, understand you have already received your deluxe boxes. Any problems with the box?

jbaent, I guess amazon.it, offered a better price but in order to do so they accepted a slower shipping method: Mules and donkeys.   ;D  For overseas they will use dolphins.
It goes to show that the so called "healthy competition" is not healthy at all. And as a great football player used to say:" Football is a game played by two teams, and in the end Germany wins". Amazon.de 4-All the rest 0
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

I ordered the 2cd from amazon uk and the super deluxe from mk.com. I currently have neither. Luckily I downloaded it from the internet for nowt. The music industry is its own worst enemy. If it was any other artist I would cancel my legit orders and stick with my dodgy copy.

"Cancel my subscription to the resurrection..."
Banjo I know how you feel. But I just received a mail with a code to download the album from MK.com. !!!
Do they read this forum or what!!!

I don't know if I can resist not listening to it. But I really wanted the full experience. By the way, I couldn't find it , not even the simple edition, at the shops ...They sabotage MK.  ;D

No problem at all. There's nothing wrong with it, manufactured pretty well and looking good: Only some extended liner notes are missing as I said earlier.

Thank you guys for the replies. I was almost certain that there was no problem, but still...
About the nice editions, except Gilmour, I can also think of Jimi Hendrix, but as one AMITer mentioned earlier, these artists are re-issuing things, while MK is serving new material every couple of years. Of course a lot can be said about Bob Dylan's and Neil Young's archives, that are actually new releases. Pottel, do you know if there is a team behind this, or if Bob participates even a little bit (I know Neil does) with his busy program?
Come on, it is not funny anymore.
