As every 2008 shows were recorded but nothing came out (officially)...

2008 KTGC tour and the BIA tour are the 2 only ones with nothing officially released. For all other tours you have at least one song, or more, offically avalaible :

1978-79 : Live at the BBC, old grey whistle test from Alchemy bonus
1980-81 : tunnel of love from live at the BBC , Arena documentary and old grey whistle test from Alchemy bonus
1982-83 : Alchemy
1985-86 :  :'(
1991-92 : On the night
1996 : a night in london, sultans of swing best of 2nd CD RAH gig
2001 : ragpicker's dream 2nd CD limited edition
2005 : simfy downloads
2006 : real live roadrunning
2008 :  :'(
2010 : simfy downloads
2011 : Privateering Deluxe edition, and maybe box set ?

I think that's why a BIA gig, and mainly the wembley arena gig has become the holy grail for many fans....

(well, not for me... I'd prefer chorus78, early demos, communique demos, Mandela, a full 81 gig or the full 22/06/1983 Paris gig, or many others..... ;)
and If i had to choose in the BIA tour, I'd choose Syndney, or Cocaine with EC, or Uniondale..... ;))

those are NOT live shows from his solo career

No?

A live dvd from 1996, when he released Golden Heart, the first record of his solo career?

A live dvd from 2006, when he released his duet record with Emmylou Harris, as part of his solo career?

No, you are right, muts be dvds from the solo career of someone else....

For BIA you have a little something: the live aid DVD, with a so-so MFN and quite a good Sultans ;)

So if its an opinion, its not a fact

 ;D ;D ;D

This conversation makes me think that to some people, the record/s and tour with Emmylou Harris is not considered as a part of MK solo career but as a contribution, when its really a MK album (just two songs by EH), MK musicians etc etc

More strange things:
I just got a cnfirmation that the 3rd CD of the deluxe at bol.com in the Netherlands contains 7 songs!
Disk 3
1. What It Is?
2. Cleaning My Gun
3. Corned Beef City
4. Sailing To Philadelphia
5. Hill Farmer's Blues
6. Marbletown
7. So Far Away Away

mk.com says:
Disc 3 - Rehearsal Desk Mixes
Why Aye Man
Cleaning My Gun (unmixed 2-track)
Corned Beef City (unmixed 2-track)
Sailing To Philadelphia
Hill Farmer's Blues (unmixed 2-track)

So we have WII instead of WAM and Marbletown and So Far Away as an extra  ???

And I f...ing ordered the deluxe at mk.com and the other versions at bol.com.
So I have to buy another one in the netherlands to have it all.  :disbelief  :disbelief  :disbelief

It's not the first time Amazon have made alterations regarding the release of versions of this album:

they told me my order for the super deluxe was cancelled
they were charging way over the odds for the deluxe 3cd version until recently when the price came down
now they say the release for the deluxe 3cd is delayed

Their handling of this release has been a total shambles.

I have serious doubt that there will be 2 different versions of the Deluxe Edition, I guess one of the two is wrong...

I will cancel anything "physical" and  change to amazon download for 11 euros - the cheapest way (and most unpopular for MK/management) to get the songs plus one extra.... Who needs rehearsal room crap anyway when you could put a complete MK/Dylan
concert with about 75 minutes on one CD?

always the same bollocks with Super deluxe, SUPER CRAP

Record company staff are amateurs. Or very clever business people...
