Third online shop announced the SHM-CD with bonus http://www.jpc.de/jpcng/poprock/detail/-/art/Mark-Knophler-Privateering-bonus/hnum/2953222?SESSIONID=fa042f24c17ba8b68af6079a0a101b91

I assume it will be 2 extra non-album tracks (from 25 finished).

An AMIT member, but he posts not so very often here obviouly....

USTAS, sorry for asking a dumbass question again, but what exactly is a SHM-CD? Which format or version will have it included, or is it a total other format?

River of Grog sounds like another stupid "left-over" song by Mark by the way, while "Occupation Blues"
sounds promising - hey, it's a blues number by MK after all! 6 weeks ago we all would have gone made by reading this...  ;D

LE, I was thinking in asking you, as one of the proud lucky ones that will be able to buy the box on august 31st, to inform of every detail of it...

... because depending if the box contains or not (in cd format or download code one) the live rehearsals cd, I will to a the Fnac store in Valencia and buy personally the 3cd version or not.

 ;D

I want to have it all in original format, so this looks like they are gonna take a lot of money from me  :lol

Naaaaaaah, when I have my box on August 31st, I will shut down the internet connection for at least 14 days and only listen to my new "precious" all day long....  ;D ;D ;D

OF course, it will be a pleasure to tell you all about it... And give my opinion about the three new songs, although I know this common meaning about opinions of course...

Our new friend, AMIT member, check the previous pages with his post

LE

SHM-CD is a usual CD, using a "super-puper" special material for the CD print in Japan. Latest industry marketing method to get extra cash from buyers. Nothing special, but very expensive. I just found some info that Japan SHM-CD version will include bonus.

Detailed release listing:

Standard Album (2CD Slimline Case)

Mercury Rec. 06025 3704321 7. The standard release includes 20 tracks.

An version of the Album (2CD)

Mercury Rec. 06025 3707935 3. A version with the standard track listing. Not any details yet.

Double Vinyl (2LP)

Mercury Rec. 06025 3708778 5. Vinyl version of the standard album.

SHM (2CD)

Universal Music Japan UICR1098. Japanese edition exclusively features the high-fidelity SHM-CD format. Referring to some on-line shops it will include bonus track(s).

Deluxe Edition (3CD Box set)

Mercury Rec. 06025 3708118 9. Includes bonus CD with 5 tracks recorded live in 2011:

    Why Aye Man
    Cleaning My Gun (unmixed 2-track)
    Corned Beef City (unmixed 2-track)
    Sailing To Philadelphia
    Hill Farmer
