got an email from mk.com the box set will be delayed due to production quality issues...  ???
wtf?   :o
anybody else ordered it through mk.com?
Anybody got that message?  :disbelief

Thats something that was expected to happen...

In 2009 it happened with the Get Lucky box. Anyone that ordered or bought it from other places had it the same day or the next week. All the people who ordered it from mk.com had to wait A LOT because the same reasons...

I was sure that it would happen again. And it did.

Never order a release for them, they are a total disaster.

Confirm. Never any deal with mk.com

Just heard this morning from Amazon UK that my 3-CD Deluxe is delayed with an estimated delivery of 6th September!

I do have one little ray of hope - because I am a UK citizen and booked more than two tickets from MK.com, I am due to get a standard CD today!  We will see!   :)

That's too bad.  I ordered my 2CD with promo code too so I should get that, but didn't Amazon promise delivery on day of release?  I eventually ordered with HMV so I'll wait and see...

My 'free' copy from the record label, allegedly sent on Friday night, did NOT turn up today. This is the one that comes as a result of ordering concert tickets. I cancelled my 3 CD version on Saturday night from Amazon, just as well as I see from others it's delayed. Luckily, I have Spotify, and I'm listening to the album through that as I write.

Incidentally, my local HMV has plenty of copies of the 2CD version, but none of the 3, so there really does seem to be a problem with it.

Here is the situation in France:
1/The 2-CD standard version is all over the place. I appreciated that the album has been given a lot of shelf space in FNAC (France's main distributor) and the album is even played.... I bought one copy, since this is the only thing I could find today.
2) The 3-CD deluxe edition is delayed one week (September 10). I ordered one last friday in order to receive the special sitting code (which I have yet to receive... I hope tomorrow).
3) The Super Deluxe Box, which I wanted to buy (even though I think it is a rip-off, for reasons that have been discussed at length here), is nowhere to be found in Paris. It is written "In stock" in fnac.com but when you got to the actual shops or call, that is another story. It seems that they are imported from Germany, that's why our germans friends are luckier than us. It seems that only two boxes are available in Creteil, 1.5 hours from my hope, I can't find the motivation to go there right now, I think I will wait and enjoy the normal album...

Not very brillant logistics, what do you think ?

For info, I bought the 3 CD Deluxe version in HMV (in the UK) today & they told me they had sold one of the boxed sets with Vinyl too.
( they had to check the stock room as there were none on display -and only about 6 of the 2 CD versions )

Still waiting for my free 2 CD version . . .  ::)

I got an e-mail today telling me they had "shipped" (I think they meant posted ;)) my free 2CD today.

HMV still haven't delivered my 3CD version and I haven't had any notice from them either to say it'll be late.

Didn't they promise delivery on the date of it's release?  They did on Amazon UK, just like they did on HMV!  Would we be just taking this as calmly if we never had the leak/Spotify etc?   :disbelief

To anyone who has ordered the box set on Universal (as suggested to UK fans by MK.com), has anyone received it yet or at least received any confirmation of despatch?  Mine is still showing as 'In Progress' on my account page...

What was the mk.com excuse? I think DMG mentioned it here and was a little concern about the box quality, not of the content but the box itself...

Is it possible that the box had something wrong and they noticed late?
