C'mon pottel you are not up to date obviously!  ;D

The Super Deluxe Box content has been described widely in the last posts. From memory:

2CD Album
1CD Bonus CD
2LP Vinyl
1DVD EPK

1 Artwork Print
1 Card with a code for a complete live concert download
That are the 6 CD's that some retailers refer to...

Sorry if this has been up before:
Regarding "1 Card with a code for a complete live concert download"

Has anyone some information as if every customer gets the same option for downloading the same concert - OR
is the coupon code a ticket to download a concert of your own choice out of a string of concerts ??
(lets say to choose one out of 14 concerts or so....)

cheers peter

 ;D ;D
Yeah, that is my point. I would definately go for the one in Denmark as we were there of course and he played on 6 Dylan songs If I remember correctly.

If all customers are to download the same concert as only one available, I will not go for the deluxe as that concert will be out there free at some point, sooner or later. Then I see no point in paying 100 EUR for other gadgets I do not need, as LP

I would love to have the CHOICE to decide which edition to buy!     At the moment at HMV, Amazon UK and Play.com the only edition of Privateering is the Standard 2 CD version!

From Amazon uk regarding my enquiry of the Super Deluxe Box Set:

Currently unavailable.
We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock.     :disbelief

Hey I just bought a second hand 70s turntable (I already had a great phono amp and speakers) and I grabbed two old records from the shop too (which the guy let me have for free-he knows I'll be back!)
I just played Queens A Day At The Races - awesome! And I got the first DS LP.

I'm gonna be a super deluxe man!!!!

Honestly, the crackle and warmth off 'old' vinyl is beautiful! Just one our of listening to old records again is heaven!
My next task is to track down the vinyl BIA, which (I think) has a superior mix of MFN and SFA. Woo Hoo!
Hey, i`ve got a truffle dog - finally a song the ordinary man can relate too!

I have near all DS in vinyl as well as CD. I can recognize your view, and its tantalizing and retro  ;D
but in the daily listening, I would steer clear of the vinyl   ;)

Oh yeah, it's not 'convenient' but listening to the first LP again like this is Amazing!!!

I wonder now, if anyone who has a phono set-up at home, bothers with the CDs? If I'm home I can't imagine hearing the record any warmer/sweeter, more vibe than what im hearing right now!

To anyone thinking of investing in a turntable in order to actually take advantage of the vinyl, there are great bargains to be had in used hi-fi equipment on eBay.  Technics were always pretty good for consumers and deejays alike.  Here's a nice one with only 6 hours to go.  Wonder how much it goes for...

I`m just thinkung about the charts. P (2 CDs) on place 252 at amazon cd-charts in Germany. And that is BEFORE release ! What do you think, does the quantity of sold Deluxe/Super-Deluxe etc .- editions count for the charts as well ? Maybe we all buy Deluxe-editions and therefore P won`t reach Nr. 1 in the charts  :( ?
