I have heard this earlier, and now I really want to ask (but in a friendly way  ) : What's wrong with MK's slide guitar playing? I loved it when he did it on
Water of Love live and I loved in on Donegan's Gone and for what I heard now it is still wonderful - many forumers seem to think he isn't good at it? How comes? My slide god is not Landreth but Elmore James, and I think he COULD play...

Can't find it on iTunes anymore by the way, but it might be too early in the morning, will have another try...

Just one one bent note up a tone, can (usually always) hit me harder than Ywnigie or Satriani.

I agree - Itunes must have had their nuts squeezed and removed "Private Earring" - even from the snippets

I heard the samples prior to the removal and really dont see the tracks as that a radical change from the direction MK has been heading in recent years - really this shouldnt come as a shock to anyone....personally i thought the songs were fantastic....

I think Sonny Landreth should have played on this album !

Being a major Sonny fan I'm probably biased but I agree. At least one or two tracks would have been perfect for Sonny's playing.

But bringing Sonny in would have made it "too" technical and maybe MK wanted to keep it simple.

I AGREE!
George was recording his song with John Lennon playing (what is considered by most musicians) basic slide notes. The fun on this song, For You Blue, is evident and and The Beatles are having a blast! I love it!

Nothing wrong with Marks playing, he knows ALL about "feel"!

There's nothing wrong with it really  

But being a slide guitarist myself I know that it takes twice the practice of normal playing to get things right. And perhaps MK has developed his own unique style?

He's not the "greatest slide guitar player in the world going" but he sounds different and that's what I like about it.

Anyone can play "I can't be satisfied"

Be patient, we will find a way to post it somewhere. Please do NOT ask me or others by PM (this is not meant to the people I already PM with a lot or who are friends for years of course). We all have more than a MK-life. In the Netherlands we have a saying:
children who ask will be ignored! So I suppose this could be a new rule regarding downloads and stuff  Not meant to be rude, but have some patience and you will get it one way or another
