We have a double album of 20 new songs to look forward to and from what I see of the lyrics, some of them have quite a lot of verses, so at least some of them must be a decent length!   Also some songs may look short in length, but these may be the ones with the longer guitar solos.

I am just ecstatic that we are having so much new material to enjoy very soon!   My cup isn't just half-full -  it is positively overflowing!   :D

Thanks SV, I was starting to get quite concerned about this whole issue.  My mind is now at ease. ;)

It's not a negative/positive thing. Of course I am very happy with the upcoming release and feel like christmas and easter on one week(end) with the sight of a DOUBLE album of MK! It is just: Why on earth is Guy not telling us? Dozens of people have asked (not just me) and apart from the usual a...lickers who always find everything great what the "good" doc says it is ridiculous - it is just a sale information as any other fact. In earlier years they told us before. So I came to the conclusion that Guy wants to avoid some discussion because we will see a lot of 2:30 and 3:15 songs. That's all.  MK started it with Time In The Sun, Redbud Tree is another indicator and I just want to  know what the album length will be. Not very difficult to understand from my point of view.

How many minutes does Dark Knight Rises run (I might have to catch a bus)
How many PS does that car have. (I might have to pull some weight)
How many rooms does that house have. (I might get a lot more children)
How many miles can I go with that ticket. (I might want to go as deep into the south as possible)
How many minutes will that album play. (I might want to know because I spend a lot of money on the deluxe box)

Ooooh, it's ART, I see... ok, then forget my question...   :disbelief

LE - Believe me, I would LOVE to spend some money on the super deluxe box set, or even the 3cd box set, but at the moment neither are available anywhere in the UK, so I can't do anything at the moment about ordering - that is my concern.

The length of the songs is immaterial to me, because MK's songs are always a pleasure, whether long or short.  In any case, we already know that Privateering, Corned Beef City and Haul Away are a reasonable length and, certainly, there are some more with longish verses - but this is something that I am not going to lose sleep over - there are more important things in life!  ;)

Guy is always tight tipped anyway and never releases many details about anything!  I don't mean any disrespect to the man because the fact of the matter is that most of the time he is in a "lose-lose" position whereby he risks getting a ticking off from MK or PC, then if he doesn't release details he gets a ticking off from forumers! ;D  Poor Guy. :'(

Super Deluxe edition now on German amazon-EUR 65

Hmmmm    ::)

The album is described as a lyrical one. With a lot of feeling and some blues songs.

Oh man. Maybe we get one rocker?
I hope

First impression is: "very excited in anticipation of it's release!" :P :P  Yes, two tongues and it takes a lot of excitement for me to give two tongues!
