this morning, around 6am mk's facebook page posted the info on the deluxe edition and redbud being aired. still too slow ,and with hardly any real info.
i fully agree, i mean, in this age of twitter, FB,pinterest and the whole www, there is NO excuse. PAUL CROCKFORD, if you read this, get this thing going man!
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....

About time we had a new "Privateering" section on AMIT? Instead of cluttering MK general???
Hey, i`ve got a truffle dog - finally a song the ordinary man can relate too!

Yes, but moving all the threads talking about it and his songs, limited editions etc...

Good idea.

Now that (some of us) know Redbud Tree...

Dont you think that the mood created by the two first songs is a little bit "grey"?

After Redbud Tree you have Haul Away, and none of them looks like happy songs, songs that would make you feel in a great mood, but with your heart in your hand...

If my second language is not off its course it translates into:

"There's an opportunity for selected (persons) to interview Mark Knopfler on Monday the 9th of July and Friday on the 20th of July. Please declare you interest as soon as possible if you are interested."

My guess is that the record company in each country is handed a window of opportunity for journalists and such to make telephone interviews with Mark by calling a linked number.

Hej border reiver! Hello Universal, I'd like to declare that I'd like to take the opportunity!  ;D ;D ;D
And she's sitting in her Lusso, in the early morning sun.

You have to GO to London for the interview. Just read a tweet from Leo Blokhuis that he is going to London July 9th to interview Mark.
Also he tweeted that he listened to the album via plaympe the streaming music site universal is using to let people listen to new music pre release.
That's normally the same way new music will be available illegal online.

I am not hoping for it but we will see.
"I could play my accordion And charm all of the women And dance round the taproom With a chair in my teeth"
