I'm listening to Privateering from the Lille concert now. I like it a lot, a sort of Mans Too Strong music vibe, good lyrics and a whimsical theme.

Get Lucky was a mixed bag for me (as all his solo works is to me really) - I can easily skip half the tracks and whole heatedly listen to others. So I guess with 20 songs, I might get a whole 10 songs I'll like! ;D
Hey, i`ve got a truffle dog - finally a song the ordinary man can relate too!

TK still in bed obviously

TK doest works at MK management or the record company, is a fan that has his own work and at the same time runs the official MKNEWS site, so I guess that as soon as his work allows him to do it, he will update his site.

Oh yeah.

It's Whit Monday today and that's a bank holiday in Germany of course, I learned that it isn't in England. So I am SO sorry and of course Mr. Kilburn will
update his "Fan" site as soon as he will get to it...

Question: A double album, that's pretty amazing. It will be well worth the wait! Would you say the album is a "regular album but twice as long", or is it more of a "concept album"?

Guy: It's a double album

My first impulse was "typcial Guy answer - so short" , but he is right - a double album has not automatically to be a concept album - it is just an album that provides music from the same artistic background/idea/intention - and when 79 minutes on a CD offer not enough space - well, then you have to put in onto 2 CDS. So it is one ALBUM in the artistic meaning of the word, but physically it is two CDs. Hope this makes sense...

I'd rather have a 38 minute album with killer songs, than a 150 minute 2 CD album with a hodge podge of good and bad. Sorry, but even Mark can't fill two CDs with great songs. Unless he's going in a certain direction with the album, it's very difficult to sustain the attention. We'll see.

We'll see, vato! I struggle with Get Lucky. And that's one CD. But I'm absolutely happy to be positively surprised :)
