Here we have a deep impact on this album from the Dylan Tour: the Bluestracks. This new album is very american again.

Oh sure. MK is going bluesy so he must have been inspired by Dylan. Because he is his idol. The legend. Blah blah bah. Give me an effing break!!  >:(

Thanks ustas!   This one looks much better than the first - less shiny and more natural-looking.    ;)

the picture before was over-sharpened with a fliter in Photoshop from someone

iam a professional photograph too and the pic now is the "real thing", sometimes compression and sharpen filter destroy jpgs very fast -

you can exposure the background in photoshop: there is a painting and a (dark coloured) neck of a guitar

I am not a fan of Dylan, live, but I do enjoy a lot of his songs and albums, so if MK was so inspired by being with Bob on tour, to write some extra blues songs for "Privateering" I am overjoyed.  It is just what I have wanted him to do for years and from what I have heard from the snippets, they sound great!    For those who do not like blues, there are also some other really beautiful songs on the album - enough to keep most of us happy I would think.    :)

I'm pretty sure all tracks were written "pre-Dylan". I read in an interview right after the release of Golden Heart that MK had always wanted to make a blues album. Guy hinted it big-time with his photo of "How to learn the blues"-book long before the Dylan tours were planned.

I just think we're pretty darn lucky that MK finally did this long awaited project.

Whether it happened pre or post-Dylan, I am glad it did eventually happen!    :)

I for my part thought there was the Elephant Man in the very left corner of the picture above. Or Jabba the Hutt, not sure!

By all means, as long as we all have something to complain about, we should count ourselves lucky.

I second that. But why exactly?  ;)

If you mean my Jabba Post: Mark is in the RIGHT corner, so I was not complaining about Mark - it was just the white blur in the left that made my imagination going... Mark looks good on this one by the way!
