Val und bbb, so there are two forumers already then that I can meet at the RAH next year!!  :D

I find it very courageous from Mark to put out a double album in these times - and also from his label, too! So it HAS to be a great one, I think even a superstar like MK would have been in trouble to push through this format of release - you know a double album automatically means lower volume of sales! And in these days were the music market is slowly dying, it seems totally to buck that trend!

And all those great song title really give a hint for "content": He obviously has written a lot of the typical MK stuff... Redbud Tree, Radio City Serenade, Bluebird, all sound typical MK stuff to me. I hardly can wait to hear them all!!

During the STP sessions they recorded so much material that they could had been released a double cd as well, but they didnt consider it and that many tracks were abandoned forever. Actually one of them was played live (Pyroman) and other one was considered for live concerts but not played in the end (Bonafide) and Guy always mentioned that song as a very good one.

Yeah, and because they were not great (which I think the same), they were not on the album! I totally have trust in Mark's judgement when it comes to creating albums!

There is something in MKNEWS that just I didnt noticed before...

The piece of news in in the News section, then it says that you have to click in releases for more information, you do that and then you can read:

Provisional track listing

...

Provisional?

If MKNEWS said provisional, it may be a reason for that, as the information it provides its official, however that information was in play.com and after in Guy

I would not give too much on that. On MKNews a release date is still "provisional" when the album leaves the charts already...  ;D ;D

The next question is..........
To listen to snippets of new songs as they leak, get played on radio stations, youtube etc....over the coming months, or to wait till album is officially released?
For me, obviously apart from Privateering, Haul Away & Corned Beef City, because I saw them performed live during last years MK/BD tour, I'll be steering clear of listening until the release date. I love the 1st spin of the cd. Almost akin to a religious experience for me. ;D
Anyone else going to be strong???? :)

I would like to listen everything as soon as I can, a first time its a first time...

The first time I listen to a new song

The first time I see the booklet and everything about the cd

The first time I listen to the whole thing song after song

There are a lot of "first times" waiting for me  ;D

I always tried to, but never managed to persevere... When the first 30 seconds were out I jumped at it...!

But it would be great to have that unique feeling again that I had the last time when Shangri-La came out... Phantastic: Close the doors, close the windows, close the eyes and go on the journey for the first time, a journey that you already know you will repeat dozens of times...  :)

Maybe I'll try again this time!

I would link this cover with the on for TRD : poverty. But one shows some happiness, is even hopeful, the other one has a depressing feel.

Do you think the sun is rising or setting? ??? ;)

This cover looks like the economical future for a bunch of people.
When you are hungry you don't care about the sun.
This is the meaning I give to that picture.

Let's see what clue Mark will give about it.
The haters are those who write shit
