Thanks to all members, for their positive feed-back re AMIT TV. We are still fine tuning things and trying out new methods to avoid the copyright issues we have had so far.
We know well in advance of publication dates whether or not a claim is made against any upload, and when time allows we may be able to come up with a solution of sorts.
It seems that some videos which have made it to free to air TV at some stage (and the recognition system seems to know the difference) are allowed to be published in all/ or most regions.
We have tried things like altering the titles and written content of uploads since the start of AMIT TV, but so far from what evidence we have there is some kind of digital recognition which weeds out selective content on videos. There have been several videos published where 4 or 5 studio version audio or video tracks have been present, but only 2-3 have had copyright issues associated with them.
We are going to try a new approach in the new year where audio claims are made, and that is to substitute the claimed content with a live version of the same song. The sync will be out but the context should still be ok. It won
