I have a brainwash (pan intended) procedure for those albums. Stick them in the CD player and play them repeatedly for days on.  You get familiar with the structure of the songs, a feeling-knowledge similar to liking the songs.

That even works for KTGC  ;D  ;D

I use do that too. However it only works for MK and John Hiatt for me. I get bored with others doing like that.

There is not getting away with it, is it now? ;D
Scripta manent.

Rollergirl, you don't have Greek roots by any chance? (or maybe Italian) ;D
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

I have done this with many albums, but you need determination and staying power!   In the end I have actually liked these albums more than the ones I loved immediately!    :)

Me too, it's the ones that I love immediately that suffers the most. Prime example for me is Sonny Landreth's "from the reach". I loved it from the first listen, listened to it to death and I can't stand it now.

OK, so that makes you 1/8 th Italian. I don't know if that counts, but it would explain your sense of humor and justice. (A vendetta  ;D  )
As for the records with immediate appeal, I can only argue that all in all, it is a matter of statistics. If you count the number of times you hear a record, or the will to listen after a long time, or whatever.  I have the same problem, "spending" the records I like at first listen, but, hands down, I have certainly spent way more time with the easy ones, adding up the times I have listened to them. I have heard like a virgin more times than True love will never fade. ;D
You can have bread everyday,  but you can't eat caviar everyday! (OK, I haven't tasted caviar ever, you can replace it with your favorite snack or sweet. Or beer / wine and Champagne)
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

I used the "let it play continuously method" on GF's Inamorata. Really glad I did as I love it now.

I just got my copy.

As I ordered the Limited Deluxe Edition, with bonus cd, I found a surprise in that bonus cd...

Its a track titled "Into the arms of love" that was recorded in the same sessions that the record, but wasnt included on it... It means that if you didnt ordered this version, you dont have that song.

I still dont know if MK plays on it (havent heard it yet), but its sure MK produced it.

There goes the customer faith. Another trick to sell the record twice! And then they complain about poor sales!

Well, I always buy the limited editions if I can, and in this case it was just a little bit expensive (little little bit) and I get an extra cd with kinda "Baps greatest hits" so I thought it was worth to expend some more euros to get more songs.

Yes, same here. Years of experience taught me to always go for the limited edition if it is not extremely overpriced. Of course some differences in the cover, or some times a time lapse between the original release and the expanded one, makes me the owner of both releases. :P ::) >:( in that very order. ;D

Mark Knopfler does play guitar on that song. "Into the arms of love" is available in itunes, so if you bought the normal cd version, you can buy this extra song in itunes.

Just today I received my limited edition copy! I will start listening to it tomorrow, and I will get back to you with my first impressions.
Thank God I ordered the limited one, since the difference was 1-2 pounds only, and you get a best of and not just the extra song from i-tunes. And I still hate buying music in a  no physical form. I feel like buying air, and can't connect to it as deeply. (which is strange, because music has little to do with the physical "shell" that contains it) Maybe I am old fashion, a fetishist.  ;D
Come on, it is not funny anymore.
