I have tried several tracks by DS but not MK. They are very nice if you wait for a phone call and hold the cell, but inside the pocket it is hard to listen. I have tried, I guess like any daddy-fool, my daughter's weeping, but it attracted too much attention. For 3 years now I am very much pleased with "Hands around my throat" by Death in Vegas. Give it a listen and you will understand. It is an awesome song too. Was it the one with the vocals by the eatheral Hope Sandoval from the amazing Mazzy star? I don't remember.  It turns out that she did vocals in this album but on other tracks. Anyway worth listening to Mazzy star, fantastic group.

BBB: I love that one, can you send me the mp3 so I can upload it as a ringtone too? Then I don't have to make the ringtone myself. Great choice, must have to to do with a good birthyear  ;-)

Hi. After having the SOS solo as my ringtone for over a year now, i've finally decided to change
it to 'Freeway Flyer' from the soundtrack 'Local Hero'
The one with the car engine at the start. It works really well as a ringtone.
In the past, i've also had the opening riff to 'Single Handed Sailor' & 'Southbound Again'
Has anyone else got an MK or DS ringtone?

The ones I use the most are Postcard From Paraguay, Your Latest Trick, Romeo And Juliet, Donegan's gone  and Sailing To Philadelphia !
My wife's calls : YLT
Most people calls : PFP
Wake up alarm : RAJ
Parents calls : STP
my wife's parents : Donegan's gone...

Making ringtones for your iphone is a pain in the a$$! I keep forgetting how it works and need to re-google the instruction whenever I want to create a new one!

But I have to refer everytime to the YouTube clip
which talks you through each step.

Same! Apple are slightly evil in this way, it's a ruse to get us to BUY a ringtone from a song we already bought. With the latest OS update they even hid the ringtone menu in iTunes, so unless you went back into preferences and settings it was even harder!

I refuse to pay though. Use the apps, and watch the YouTube vid.

Uuuhhhhh ringtones?? I have still an old Nokia, but it works good and because I don't use my mobile phone often, I am not going to buy another one!  

I have a LOT of mp3 songs at my mobile and it is great listening when I ride at my bicyle, or now when it is colder and I take the buss to work.
When somebody calls me, I hear SOS and when I get a SMS message I hear "Our Shangri-La"   Now and then I change the music and have other songs of Mark or DS! Using these songs is easy for my co-workers, beause when somebody rings, they know it is my phone!
