I have a real feeling of nothing going on with Mark at the moment, last year was full of Mark, he had a lot going on, I was hoping he would have the band back together now, he said he didn't want to have a big gap between albums going forward.
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.

Also Guy stated that there is nothing planned by now

Personally, I consider that ODR is the last MK record we're having, same than 2019 was the last tour.

We are only clueless.

I don't think - yet - that ODR/The Boxer will be Mark's last release.

Give him the time.

Exactly! Why do we forget that Mark has often said in interviews that he will continue recording.

Mark's voice and songwriting are too good to retire. Guitar playing, though... That's another story. I wonder how he's going to deal with that. I doubt he's gonna deal with that by recording nothing.

 I like that thought:)

I agree, that the touring days are over, but, I have no doubt he will keep recording, another film soundtrack would be good, that is something that would not have to have a big focus on the guitar playing.
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.

Because he's not getting any younger.

Very different answer from Guy on his forum when asked if they will play live again. It’s gone from those days are over to this “ Thanks, yes, our last European show. It’s hard to say right now if we will play any shows, we’d love to of course.” I wonder if things have changed?

I think he was just being polite to a heartwarming message. I don't see how Mark can play a live concert ever again.

Who does Guy mean when he says " we’d love to of course" It can't really include Mark otherwise they would be touring.
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.
