Never liked the STP tour and can't absolutely understand the AMIT demand for the Madrid DVD - ridiculous non-stage, Mark looking tired in his little Red T-Shirt, mediocre versions of almost all songs.. I mean a DVD should also offer some visual content. (For example the 2008 stage).

Also absolutely unrealistic to expect unreleased 'original" versions or Pyroman and stuff.
The bonus tracks imcluding Long Highway are a good realistic option (Double CD or Vinyl).

I would go for a complete official mix of the Vaison 1996 Show anytime.  ;D ;D

The STP concert I attended at  the RAH was a bit of a let-down for me and I remember coming home on the train feeling pretty depressed, not at all elated as I usually would have been when leaving a concert.   It was partly because Mike Henderson was just too loud and seemed to overshadow MK's guitar. Junkie Doll was excellent, however.

I had almost the same depressed feeling on my way home. After the high impact of the 1996 shows the 2001 shows were a huge let down for me:
Calling Elvis just slowed down, most boring opener ever
Walk Of Life AGAIN
Sultans massively shortened and first time many greenies and mistakes  spread all over the song.
Set list too calm and slow, Pyroman and Junkie Doll the only positive impulse.
Plus in Hamburg they shortened the set from two songs and I got the shortest show of the tour (1h45min).

I loved the more rock orientated 2005 Set much more (although MK with cringey glasses and very non-energy Performance when I look back now.)

If there be an anniversary box i think it will be just like BiA also because the b-sides of the singles where already released on the bonus cd of the studio album boxset.
But an official recording of that tour which include “Pyroman” would be great to have Although we already have a radio broadcast version of that song. But a studio version of excist would also be great

I remeber I left with happy face on the 2001 tour.

There was of course UP and DOWN compared with 1996.

Pyroman, Junkie Doll, SAN, WII, MFN, SFA where my high  from the show.
The haters are those who write shit
