Yeaaah I loved it too Rollergirl, thanks for sharing!

It was nice to read that also Chad was asked to play the drums at the new album of Pieta Brown!

Great from Richard to tell us THIS story, too... Do you also think life on tour with MK might not always be guns and roses?

Oh well, I am VERY sure, there is a lot we don't know. Some years ago there was the famous phrase "we we're on auto-pilot" and it it's absolutely understandable that this band has its mood swings. There are only humans after all.

So, if you ask me, the captain of this little battleship is a rigorous boss - and if something goes really down the drain, you better hide for the next day...

But that may appeal to other members of this divine band!

Quite funny to hear some comments from Richard and Guy about small rooms... although they don't seem to care about travelling on the bus instead of the plane.

I dont know how Metaliica got involved in this thread, but you must see Some Kind Of Monster, it's hilarious! Real Spinal Tap stuff, fly on the wall magic.

Ol' Dicko's been quite grumpy on this tour diary compared to others IMO.  Of course hotel rooms are smaller in Europe compared to USA where everything is bigger.  Getting from your en suite to your bed is like a landscape to be negociated!

It was a 2/3/4 hour drive through the night - delete as appropriate.
X was the DJ and he played great stuff.
We ate Y and it was fab, washed down with Z.
Before you know it, we're at our hotel.
My room was big/small/smelly/amazing - delete as appropriate.
Optional insert - I had ? for breakfast. Best ever.
The gym was good/bad/quiet/busy - delete as appropriate.
Insert brief history of town here.
Before you know it we're off to the gig.
We soundchecked after Bob
Into catering.
The band were really great and so was the crowd.
Mark did/didn't play with Bob.
It was a 2/3/4 hour drive through the night... :P

It wasn't a nasty post, he used a smiley. Smileys are the internet equivalent of diplomatic immunity.

I liked the post. To quote Homer Simpson, "It's funny 'cause it's true."

Still love Richard's diary though, especially now Isaac is gone.

I found it funny rather than nasty too. This scheme seems to be the skeleton of every entry but I still look forward reading it every day. Great entertainment, especially when you can't make it to any gig this time around.
...Well, he's a big star now but I've been a fan of his for years. The way he sings and plays guitar still bring me to tears...
