Interesting.  Now they have one less connection with Dire Straits that they can boast about in their promotion.  I wonder how long before other members get tired and depart...  Maybe Phil just woke up and realised what Alan and Chris should that is: they are better than this.

Or maybe they had another "sausage" incident.

Don't forget Phil is a session guitar player and as such he may have other commitments...
Not good for session musicians to refuse...
Here is a copy of a part of page 2 of Guitar & Bass Magazine - october 2011...
But it not means he will not play on the tour - we will see...

I really don't understand why Phil would want to work with losers like George Michael and Seal when he could be part of the amazing new music that will be coming from The Straits.

It's probably his life long dream to meet Andrew Ridgeley.

Didn't know he is touring now...but google says he is...so the article is strange then. Maybe the journalist don't interpret his words correct and Phil mentioned his Tour with George Michael some years ago... ??? "most recent" is a very wide concept... :lol

Other possible reason - he is in Italy for his BD on 9th September ( which was mentioned on the fan page) and wanted to spend more time there. We will see soon... :P

OK, because I thought you were throwing stones to my favourite artists, fellow Greek George and dear Seal.
Come on, it is not funny anymore.
