So there will be no MK tour in June/July, that's pretty clear now!

Or that are the free days ;)

I thought about that but I would never expect Guy to do so during a MK tour. I think he is far too loyal and prfessional to do so. Plus day-offs are hard earned on tour.

Hi Guys!

I went to the BluesClub Band gig in Putney.
I met Guy and Glen Saggers unloading the equipment. Later in the pub I had a chat with Guy and Danny and shook hands with Joe Knopfler. Half of the people in the club were family and friends of the band. I also saw Chuck Ainley and Robyn Becker, MK's PA.
The doors were after 8pm, typical small club with low stage and very little light. Max Fletcher was the support act, playing on the acoustic guitar. He is very talented and has a very nice voice.
Around 9pm the BluesClub Band came on and they sound really good live too. It was a little too loud for me, but after Mr. Bob I was trained. They played two sets of Blues and ended after 11pm. A very nice evening to be entertained by skilled musicians.
I made some photos and you can find them on my FB page.

Cheers,
Martina

Thanks Marky49!     I would love to come to another of these gigs (I was at the Inglenook in 2009) but it would be nice if they came a bit further north - train fares and hotels are expensive!   Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed yourself!   :)
