I was thinking about this topic seriously but couldn't help: Anything else but a pure MK solo album would be a disappointment somehow. I indeed had some
kind of "day dream" during lunch break the other day and that was that indeed only one other artist would be worthy to do a duet with MK: Bob Dylan! (huuu huuuu). I faithfully hope that there will be no David Gilmour, no David Knopfler, no Eric Clapton and no J.J. Cale! They only would absorb each other! (well, at least three of them...
)
The only thing I really dream about for years (in terms of MK) would be a release of some complete Dire Straits Blu Ray, London Wembley Arena 1985,
Basel or Nimes 1992. In a nice box set. Chrismas could be the key for the late mixing - what if some great release is planned in autumn, something for US!
ok, I will dream on...!
The other thing that would make me happy is MK would go totally ballistic and doing two "alternative" albums - or let's say, the new album in a live, "unplugged" release, combined with each other - and those live recordings would take place during autumn.
Or MK has written an Opera, called "That's The Way You Do It", or has written a biography, and has to do some serious book promotion going during autumn...
Come on, Guy, tell us! I need to know!
