He agreed at the time that he would not release the recordings.

Whether or not he did, I don't know.  :)

I hope he still want to release it, maybe in a chain, not upload it but send discs to people in this nice community who can copy for others again   ;)
In the end I don't agree with Guy or PC in this case. Everyone is able to record IEM when he finds the right frequence, even outside the venue. So Chia, if you are still in for a trade  :D

I'm nearly dying for that!  Grrr, why I was told about the recordings but never see it?!   Sigh....
My idea of heaven is a place where the Tyne meets the Delta, where folk music meets the blues.

I agree with Julio and Ingrid. If they (PCM & Co) like or not, this recording exists. And I can't imagine a reason why it can be shared among the (true) fans. We have a lot of DS/MK unofficial recordings, soundboards too, and I'm sure if we get this new one we'll not change our feelings and our supporting to the Man. On the contrary, this ban they have imposed makes me feel a little more distant.

Personally I don't agree with making the IEM recordings, if MK doesn't want it to happen then we should respect their wishes.

That said, if somebody else has done it and released it, I will listen to it. Yes, I am a hypocrite.  ;)

One day when I'm feeling mischevious (or possibly drunk) I'll post the series of PM's I had with Chia. I gently tried to suggest that it would probably be a wise idea to remove his thread but he got quite pissed off with me. It didn't really give me much satisfaction when it all went tits up in EXACTLY the way I had predicted.  :-\

Doesn't this go down the same lines as the video policy?  If MK doesn't want it to happen should we respect that?

....of course if someone should accidentally pop it in the post to me I would be obliged to keep it.  You see to just throw it in the bin would be damaging to my carbon footprint ;) LOL

You know how it works Ian, if it's not allowed it's even more interesting  :D
I really don't care. I will not video if it's not allowed but if someone ask me to help to seed a video or an IEM-recording I will definately do it  ;)

I guess I don't feel too strongly either way about this, although it is probably best to respect MK's wishes. Fortunately, we have some pretty good audience recordings from this tour. It get's me wondering, though, if someone has a complete listing of soundboard and FM recordings from DS and MK solo tours. Allen? Pottel?

I would be in the same van as the people that appreciate that MK 8) does not want these recordings aired but YES I would listen to them if they were made available. In a sense its just like telling a child (& we are all childlike when it comes to MK 8)) that they cant have something when they can see & nearly touch it ???.
If it aint broke dont fix it!

if you have the chance to hear / have the songs that Mk recorded but neve released, and someone got that tape who knows why, would you say no because that tapes are probably stolen?

As a fan I can say no to hear as much MK material as I can, and I don
