Oh please, a tour with Dylan? You've got to be effin' kidding me! Better invest your time in something new and fresh, dear MK!
Dylan aversion aside: I don't really see why MK should be interested in some nostalgia tour with Dylan... That's just boring.

Couldn't agree more. I thought MK doesn't look back and try to relive the past?
Oh well, Dylan just isn't my cup of tea...

but blind wilie mcTell, and many other brilliant songs on both those albums show what good can come from having these two together.
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....

There are only few artists that deserve the term "nostalgic" to a lesser extent than Bob Dylan...

I wish I went to see Bob in Lyon last year. He did play blind Willie McTell  :disbelief
Hope the best is to come.

I see problems coming up referring to set lists! Bob changes his set every night, Mark pretty much sticks to a certain routine - I wonder how they will work it out! That alone could be interesting enough to go to attend a show of both of them - if it is ONE show - or is it possible that everybody plays a full set?
What else could be meant with the term "double header tour"?

I saw a joint Dylan/Van Morrison show and listened to bootlegs of his tour with Paul Simon.

On both ocassions they played their own sets, although Dylan and Simon did a couple of duets together. So this will probably be the same, not an entire joint show like ATRR.

True, but MK could just come in and play guitar with Dylan's band on some tracks, that would be cool.

I was asking Guy if he will be a member of the tour band last night, with letting him know that "we" figured it out and already know about Bob Dylan!  :lol
So I am curious when he will update his forum the next time and what his answer will be...
