Here's one to please dusty from Guy's forum:

Eric Clapton seems to be concert less Mid June onwards, and with these rumours about no Danny Cummings, one name that springs to mind is Phil Collins?!!

Guy: Sorry, way off mark on all counts.

From that answer I think Danny is still there!   :)

Phil Collins? He's joking? That make years that Clapton has already replaced him.
Moreover, it is really funny considering that Guy actualy wrote about the cureent Clapton drummer.

As a non-drinker I shouldn't say this, but what Mark and les boys should do is grab a case of beer, have a late night jam, and "see what happens"  :D

Funny post!  :) Me, as a non-drinker myself, could have come to that same idea. And let me say as the non-smoker I also am: Maybe they should take a good smoke again in the studio and "see what happens" (I am sure that MK did something similar during the recording of "Wanderlust"..  8) :lol )

Guy will soon post a "News item" regarding the show last night  :)

Well, here it is:

Last night Mark, myself and a small band comprising John McCusker, Luke Brighty and Danny Thompson played a private fundraising event for a charity set up three years ago by Mark's (and mine) long term friend Mariella Frostrup. The charity called The Gender Rights and Equality Action Trust - GREAT - aims at fostering gender equality and raising awareness and funds to support grass roots gender equality projects in Africa and beyond. The GREAT Initiative works in partnership with Femmes Africa Solidarit
It's the end of a perfect day..,.

A perfect setlist for tuxedo-clad upper-crust chums. I bet half of them went to the bathroom during Song for Sonny Liston. Twice.

While waiting for my turn at the hairdresser's yesterday, I was reading a recent edition of OK Magazine and there was a feature on the GREAT Initiative!   There were pictures of many glamorous celebrities, such as Jemima Khan, potiticians and actors, posing as usual, but not one mention of MK and the band!   I thought this was really bad, especially as they had given their services for free!  >:(

MK probably did it on the agreement that there was no mention of him in OK magazine. ;)
