Marcus Cliffe
« on: October 14, 2010, 11:35:56 AM »
Saw The Manfreds (+ Cliff Bennett & Alan Price) the other evening.   Marcus Cliffe playing bass.   I know I've seen him play with MK, think it was during a promotion tour.   He's also played with Brendan Croker.   He also plays on a single released in 2007 by MK of Brothers in Arms raising money for South Atlantic Medal Assoc.

How about - bands/artists I have seen where one of them has played with MK

Gordon Haskell - he played with Robbie McIntosh, promotion work with MK
Blazin Fiddles - one of their members - Catriona Macdonald played on A Shot at Glory
Kate Rusby - she was married to John McCusker - (bit tenuous)
Paul Brady - played a gig with MK in Ireland, cd in collaboration with MK

Paul Brady also had John Illsley as his bass player during some years...
