I love the version of Layla with MK and EC. Brilliant solo from MK.
It was one hell of a line-up, and the guitar duel with EC, MK, and McCartney on The End is just great. Overall that night, perhaps with the exception of Macca, MK's performance stands out. Really rocking MFN.
100% agree. This DVD is among my very favourites, and this rocking version of MFN is the best I have ever heard - and I have heard many from 85/86,91/92, and subsequent solo tours. The dream band led by Sir Paul is gorgeous. I am grateful to have this on dvd.
Actually people complain that not many official DVDs were released, but with Alchemy + On the Night + RLRR (to complete DS set with SFA and WW, plus a gorgeous version of SAN) + the itunes release of the wondeful WAM video from 2002 + A Night in London + Montserrat + Live Aid (for a superb sax-ed version of SoS) + Knebworth, the collection, while being far from complete, gives us superb versions (if not the best available) of many major songs.
Sadly missing: RATR and MTS from the BIA tour, WII, STP, and all the recent stuff from RPD and GL (Marbletown, HFB, Coyote, BR, PTTE...). Maybe someday ?
