Finding a bad MK solo on record is virtually impossible.
But, and I cannot understand why, Planet of New Orleans never really grabs me. It's the only MK song with a lot of guitar that I'm not particularly fond of. Is he playing jazz notes or something? I don't know what it is.
I think it's just a bunch of pentatonic cliches, but still done with impeccable taste!
I always wonder why they fade out just when a solo starts searing?
Oh and Dusty, too true about Private Dancer! MK should take the blame!
