Well, as I have not heard every performance of HFB, it's impossible to say.  Birmingham is very good, but length is immaterial - it's the general performance that counts.   I like the Bournemouth version a lot - MK sings a particular section (shells for the twelve and razor wire....) with a very rough-sounding accent, which suits the song very well.    I remember the Dublin version, which I attended, being pretty amazing, but until the recording materialises.......who knows?

The version from Amsterdam 1st night is a very powerful one! I have the audience recording from Birmingham and yeah it is a good version too! I don't know if I should buy another simfy recording!
