No, I can't see him lying on a beach for very long either.   I remember him saying somewhere that after two weeks in paradise all he wants is to get home and have a decent cup of tea!

Based on how prolifically creative and a workhorse MK is there is NO way he is going to stop releasing albums and touring....can you REALLY see MK sitting on a beach somewhere for the next 20 years.......he will be back in the studio "noodling" before we know it!

I was fearing this ending thing exactly two years ago when I started listening to Mark for the first time.I never saw him live before but in a matter of hours I became an instant fan,his music was everything to me and when I heard there will be a new album and tour I did my best to see him live at least once because I though it will be the last.And believe me it's not that easy for a 16 years old guy living in Kosovo to travel outside the country let alone attend a concert with all those expenses in these very difficult times.I don't want to mention all those struggles and obstacles I had to go through because it was totally worth it and those are the best two hours of my life ,memories that will be treasured for the rest of my life.

I've seen MK a number of times now. Going to see him live is always one of the greatest moments of my life and I always cherish each time as if it will be my last opportunity. Not just because MK is getting older, but I could get run over by a bus tomorrow, anything could happen. As the man himself says, "Who knows how long we've got..."?

Beautifully spoken from Guy in his last diary, IMO Mark is the best that happened in my life, he is such a big influence.. I tried at school tot get people listen to DS, poor me... It failed, they only listen to rap/r&b, dance etc.. Yuk. It was a great pleasure for me to see, that Gent was as young as me too, finally a young MK Get a Lifer!

Yeah, you know I uttered the same feelings a few day ago in this thread, but last time (2008) I thought it was quite surprising that Mark already made plans for another tour during the last few weeks of that ongoing touring. I am sure he has enough new material to go into the (his) studio again. Let's see what happens. If the recordings and production runs smooth, the idea of getting back on the road will come up automatically I am sure. Because MK is not only a trooper but also a ... roadrunner  ! (meek meek)

Absolutely! But I have to admit that I fear he'll be cutting down on the schedule. That could mean less shows for us to enjoy.
Anyway I hope that he'll get well soon. I still don't know if I could cope with such a tight schedule he - and the rest of the touring party of course! - have done in the past.

Good point - even if MK stopped touring he will probably still show up somewhere in the UK doing a few charity gigs from time to time so its easy for us to jump on a plane to see him - not so for people in the USA,OZ or beyond though.

IMO, I dont think his touring days are over by a long way but I dont see him travelling as extensively in the future - I cant see him going to OZ or the far east on future tours either
