Hard to hear, but I think he said "merci beaucoup" (thank you very much).
Don't expect to hear great philosophical talks in French, I think he only knows the very basic tourist language and was just trying to be nice I also noticed that he speaks much less in non-english speaking countries during band intros and others, probably he feels more comfortable sharing long stories with native speakers... he's not always easy to understand.

Sure, he is a rennaissance man, an educated reader and a writer, he probably understands more. But what I mean is that he is not comfortable enough to speak large sentences.

You're right !!! I did not notice this before. A bit slow, but recognizable. Thanks to you I won't buy another concert (unless someone tell me that the denmark concert has a soooo much better MFN riff !.
So we got the TOL part in HFB, the MFN part in Coyote. When do we get an OES part in PW ?

I didn't like Coyote from the album, but this live version is enjoying me a lot  
It has some Imelda spirit and tempo from 96.

I love how Mark speaks in french at the end of Coyote, especially his "Merci" @ 6:25. His accent is then perfect.

Yeah, Same for me, did not like Coyote first time, but now live it has little to envy to "Cleaning My Gun"...
And now that I listen to the album more, I think TRG is really a great album.
I would give the following marks to the solo albums now:
