Charognards ? I thought the move towards the stage was rather calm... I was more irritated by the constant whistling and yelling...

herlock, thanks for a very entertaining read. You have  a knack with the style of writing.  I thoroughly enjoyed reading your review.  Agreed with LE that it was the  best so far.  ( we should have a seperate thread that we can compile fans' reviews from every show, I think that will be a fun way to remember the shows, we can even vote which is the best!)

Agreed totally with your thoughts at the end of the review.  It doesn't matter what MK plays, it's the magical 2 hrs or so moment of being in his presence that makes it feel like it's an eternal bliss which we can only hope we can experience each and every single day in lives. Well, at least, we have the experience and the memories to cherish.

May I respectfully disagree. I love the way he sings ANISLO - very powerful. And as far as screaming is concerned, there is still a long way to go before reaching Bono's standards ;)
For years, Mark was reproached that he was mumbling inaudible lyrics - and now that, at last, his voice becomes loud and clear, we would complain as well ?

Herlock, I totally agree with you. Saying screaming is disrespectful to Mark, he did a great job on ANISLO. I know that everyone can express there one opinion that for sure. :) But, if we compare MK to Bono, Mark sings so much better! :D

I have to say, after watching the you tube clip of 'A night in summer', i love the way he sings it. Very powerful & very clear.
He sings with so much more clarity now, whereas he always used to mumble.
I've enjoyed watching his facial expressions on this tour as well. Not only when he sings, but when he is talking between songs.

I was surprised the way he did sing it - very unusual but interesting.
