My idea of heaven is a place where the Tyne meets the Delta, where folk music meets the blues.

@Allen : sure you can (this pic was taken from some "googling" research)  ;)

Wow, great great great : a guest and LOCAL HERO !!! Things are changing.

My friend Elian was at Dublin (well we should have been there but with a new baby coming we had to cancel so we had given the tickets) and after an horrible travel from France he told me the concert in Dublin was excellent (with a very long STP). Much better than in New York where he was too.
Pics and review will be posted soon.

As Belfast was great from what Isaac said, with a wonderful Marbletown (my favourite from 2008).
And now some setlist changes in Glasgow: the european leg starts very well !!!

Local hero in a Celtic arrangement at Glasgow - can only mean we are going to get the full band version tonight in Newcastle - I can't believe Mark would come here and not play the tune that 50,000 geordies are treated to on a saturday afternoon when their team comes running out onto the pitch at St James Park.

The anthem is synonymous with the north east and everybody up here knows it.

Phil guested on Bonaparte and Piper too!

MK seemed particularly inspired last night.  You could see a wee twinkle in his eyes and he was smiling to himself!  This resulted in an extended solo in HFB which was stunning and by far and away the best version of Coyote I've heard yet.  Speedway and TR were really powerful too and he seemed to be like the MK of yesteryear.  I really hope a recording turns up of this show.

I must also say that it was really nice to meet Draad pre-show.  What a really nice chap and post show bumping into him again and meeting Dusty (however briefly).  Maybe next time!  I met up with a couple that I have known from MK shows for years last night so we caught up.

Last, but not least, on the way out we met Phil Cunningham!  We told him how much we all enjoyed the show where he interviewed MK and he said it was just like two pals meeting up and going for a day out and he was so pleased the way it turned out.

I checked and don't know how but Unfortunately I'm not going to Manchester. :(

I usually go to the RAH shows but not this year.  I'm going to see him in Lucca this year and have a wee holiday in tuscany while I'm there.

Hopefully we'll meet sometime and put a face to the opinions! :)
