It seems that MK will play in Montreux on July 15
Finally we have a swiss date !

Not officially announced but I believe it's quite reliable. It confirms the rumors I've heard.

You know I've been expecting Mark playing "home" for a long long  long time. I don't remember how many years.
Now I can really start my tour schedule ;-)

Wow, the Jazz Festival has always such a fantastic ambiance!!!
Too bad it's a bit far for me, but I love going to Montreux again, even more with Mark playing there!
Wonder if he'll play in the Miles Davis Hall or in the Auditorium Stravinsky...
A bit small venues, though - great IF I can get a ticket...  :S

How far is Montreux from the French border?

If you like to swim it's about 10 km from the French border
Smoke on the Water 
Otherwise it's 20 km from the border at St.Gingolph or about 100 km from the one west of Geneva.

And oh, it's only about 60 km from the Italian border if that info helps your decision.
