Golden Heart album
« on: February 26, 2010, 07:10:04 PM »
Golden Heart is one of mye favourite albums by Mark.

I really like to know the stories behind each songs of the album.

Does someone know where I can find it?

Hi, Kay,

USTAS, who is a member here, runs a great homepage called "www.mark-knopfler.info, and there you can find all kinds of good stuff. In the Article's section there are a lot of interesting ones, and there you can find the "Golden Heart press kit". Although MK tells not about the real story behind every
song, it is really an interesting read about most of the songs.
Hope this helps!

About that record, I recall some articles in whick Mark mentioned that before he started the final recordings from this record, he was rehearsing with a bunch of british people that were Nick Lowe, Paul Carrack and Bobby Irwin (bass, keyboards and guitars, and drums), apparently the song "My claim to fame" was recorded with them, and some of the songs in the "Golden demos" (No wonder he

No, you're right, that was already an official bonus DVD included in the special edition...
I confused it with the one from RPD.

Sorry  :-[
