This site is slow?

I have been having problems recently. Sometimes pages don't open, sometimes they take ages and ages to load. Anyone else?

I am very much aware of this, and very much frustrated by it. Unfortunately, there's nothing anyone here can do for the moment as we are at the mercy of our host, StartLogic. My suspicion is that StartLogic severely oversold their MySQL servers and now we are paying the price. FYI, we use very little of the resources we originally purchased from them, and this is the performance we ended up with. That's what bugs me. To top it all off, when I spoke with a rep from the company a few weeks back in regards to this, she (or he) actually told me that 8-10 second page load times are "normal"!

Mine often take 30 seconds to a minute to load, and sometimes they don't load at all.
I was trying to type an answer to someone on the board mail, and I kept having to stop typing because I got so far ahead of the site I wasn't sure where I was.

Wasn't it a few months back a real problem but was solved then? Anyway, since a few weeks I am aware of it again, too! But I can live with it now that
I know it's not a problem of  my computer - well you see I am a  "real geek"...

here it can be very slow at times, and sometimes very fast!

I don't have any problems !  yeah !    My page actually loads very fast.  1-2 seconds maybe.  That's only if I pause my torrents download. Othewise, it can be frustrating.

Yes, it is very slow for me too, but it gets there in the end!

It may be that we move to another provider if it persists.

Yes, it's working pretty fast right now.
Because it is off and on, I, too, thought it was my computer or ISP and am glad it's not.

We are currently in the advance stages of testing an alternative, hopefully all this will be resolved soon.

This is mind-fogging slow     
And I'm not speaking about 8-10 or even 30 seconds...

Even repeatedly get this:
