Seems a bit silly to go to all that hassle to get the domain and then not even use it.
Seem to remember Tomas Molin having a fight with David Knopfler after setting up knopfler.net.
They are using it in 3 ways.
1) They are redirecting us to the main site
2) They are protecting the name Dire Straits - if they let the person that had the domain loose he/she could cause problem if they decided to sell stuff etc. i.e. merchandise/CDs as the unsuspecting public would think it was a pukka site.
3) They are potentially 'parking' it themselves for the future.
