Heya!

Credits & thanks to Ingo!

I'd like to give this link http://urbanimage.photoshelter.com/search?I_DSC=dire+straits&I_DSC_AND=t&_ACT=search
for some pics from ye olden days.

Thanks for these - loads of rarities there.

Just read the posts above and had a little chuckle to myself as my Mum always says that when DS were in their infancy, David was the good looking one but as they've gotten older Mark has aged better.  She always says it's not that he's good looking but there's "something" about him!  I guess he must have the "x" factor, whatever that is.  $$ ::)

Was that the stolen Schecter in there too?  Hard to tell in the photo but it had dot markers so it was either that or the replacement. :think

Nice to see some photos and sessions that were used for the 7'' singles! R&J, LR etc.
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

Well that was really very nice of you to share all these beautiful pictures of MK!! This is so interesting thread!!!! I think that he has even now that he's 66 years old a great presence on stage and on screen which was already obvious during that famous BBC great documentary in 1979!!! I really believe that he would have made a fantastic actor if he wanted to!! Here is some captures I made on screen watching  Gigs on YouTube!!! :wave :thumbsup
